    About True Encounters

These are accounts told in the first person: the hallway, the hour, the sound that did not belong. We publish them because the texture of a real telling is worth more than a tidy explanation.

Each account keeps the narrator's own words and adds only what we can independently place — an address, a date, a newspaper clipping, a records search.

Sourcing: accounts are published as told by the witness. We confirm identity and, where records exist, the place and date. Nothing here is presented as proof of the paranormal.
